Training for Abbott Glucometers

If You Need Training

We are committed to making your transition to using Abbott glucometers and test strips as smooth as possible. We are confident that you will find the Abbott glucometers are accurate, reliable, and easy to use. Training on the use of Abbott glucometers can be provided to you in several ways:

  1. Diabetes nurse care managers are available to help you adjust to using the Abbott glucometer. To talk with an NHP Diabetic Care Manager, please call 1-800-462-5449 and press 4, 2, 4.
  2. Printed materials and DVDs, available in English or Spanish. Simply call Abbott's diabetes hotline at 1-888-522-5226.
  3. Onsite training at community health centers and provider centers in your area.
